Frame
The Cadet starts with a high quality high tensile strength steel frame that suits a smaller, beginner level rider perfectly. With pro-level geometry, a sealed mid bottom bracket, extra rear tire clearance for huge tires, and seat stay mounted brakes, you get everything you’d see in more expensive frames.
Drive Train
We’ve upgraded the Cadet’s drive train for 2012. You now get heat-treated 3-piece tubular chromoly cranks matched to a sealed mid bottom bracket, 25/9 gearing, and a semi-sealed rear cassette hub.
Seat
Forget those clunky and heavy steel rails and seat guts. The Cadet ships with Verde’s exclusive 2-piece injection molded seat with integrated aluminum post. This combo weighs in at an extremely light 6.3 oz.
Extras
For 2012 we’ve added some great touches to our entry level bike such as, DUO Doyle grips, DUO Resilite logo bar ends, front and rear color anodized rims, premium paint, bigger tires, and better brakes.
